ASEAN AI Summit Focus Session: Advancing ASEAN-Japan Co-Creation Initiative for AI

This focus session introduces Japan's policy approaches and related initiatives that can broadly contribute to AI-powered MSME growth across the ASEAN region. Additionally, under the framework of the ASEAN-Japan Co-Creation Initiative for AI, it highlights practical case studies from Japanese stakeholders who are actively advancing co-creation with ASEAN member states. Through these efforts, the session aims to foster the further advancement of AI co-creation between ASEAN and Japan.

ASEAN AI Summit Focus Session: US-ASEAN Workshop on SI and Cybersecurity Standards

Organized as part of the ASEAN AI Summit for MSMEs, the workshop will bring together Philippine and ASEAN government officials, MSMEs, industry associations, standards organizations, U.S. technical experts, and private sector representatives to discuss practical approaches to adopting internationally recognized cybersecurity and super intelligence standards.

The program will feature practical case studies, tools, and implementation approaches on topics including industry-led standards, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, cybersecurity adoption for resource-constrained enterprises, SI risk management, and the role of standards in supporting secure digital infrastructure and responsible technology adoption.

ASEAN AI Summit Focus Session: EU Experience with AI to Promote Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Growth

The session will share European experience in making artificial intelligence affordable, useful and trustworthy for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It will connect policy choices with adoption services and business demonstrations, then identify practical EU–ASEAN cooperation ideas. The overall objective is to share EU best practices and explore opportunities for collaboration, cooperation and piloting initiatives that can support the policy framework, MSMEs, support organisations and businesses in identifying and rolling out practical approaches for inclusive, responsible AI-enabled MSME growth.
